LOMS History Day

LOMS History Day

Check point one then check point two now and until March 5 the eighth graders will be creating a website, document, paper,or presentation. Why they are doing these big projects is a very simple answer National History Day. National History Day is as the name says it a national project about a theme of the students choosing and make project about the person that they have chosen. The person that they choose must relate the theme of this year which is “Legacy and Leadership”. Some examples of the people that are being chosen are Adolf Hitler, Martin Luther King Jr, and many more.  LOMS was once able to compete nationally but since there was a budget cut the no longer do. However, they still do NHD in their own school. History day will also be a huge part of the eighth grader's grade so they are making there projects as best as possible. Once done on march 5 all of their creations will be shown off to the rest of the school will also be judged by some volunteer judges. Until then they will all be busy working hard.
